Amazon is a key strategic channel for our business, and we are looking for someone to take full ownership of it.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a Remote Amazon Marketplace Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our Amazon stores. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and highly hands-on, capable of managing daily execution while continuously improving performance at a system and account level.
- You will be responsible for everything related to Amazon - listings, content, inventory, pricing, promotions, account health, and overall growth. This is not a support role; you will act as the owner of the Amazon channel across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Amazon Strategy & Growth:
- Own the Amazon marketplace strategy across Canada and USA operations.
- Drive consistent growth in revenue, profitability, and account health.
- Identify opportunities for listing expansion, new product launches, and category growth.
- Align Amazon initiatives with broader marketing, inventory, and promotional calendars.
Listings & Content Management:
- Create, optimize, and maintain Amazon product listings (titles, bullets, descriptions, backend keywords).
- Manage parent/child variations, category placement, and listing structure.
- Build and maintain A+ Content and Brand Store pages.
- Coordinate product images, infographics, and video assets aligned with brand standards.
- Ensure listings follow Amazon SEO best practices and compliance guidelines.
Inventory & Fulfillment Management:
- Manage FBA and FBM inventory across multiple SKUs and brands.
- Forecast demand and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts and overstock.
- Create and manage FBA inbound shipments.
- Monitor and resolve stranded, suppressed, or inactive inventory.
- Optimize inventory health metrics and storage fees.
Pricing, Deals & Promotions:
- Own pricing strategy to remain competitive while protecting margins.
- Plan and execute:
- Lightning Deals.
- Coupons.
- Prime Exclusive Discounts.
- Seasonal and event-based promotions.
- Monitor Buy Box performance and pricing conflicts.
Advertising & Performance Oversight:
- Oversee Amazon advertising efforts (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display).
- Coordinate with internal teams or external partners where applicable.
- Monitor ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, and overall profitability.
- Identify keyword and campaign opportunities to support organic ranking and launches.
Analytics, Reporting & Account Health:
- Monitor account health, policy compliance, and Amazon performance notifications.
- Track KPIs including sales, conversion rate, organic rank, ad performance, and inventory metrics.
- Provide clear reporting and actionable insights to marketing leadership.
- Proactively manage cases, issues, and escalations within Seller Central.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
- 4+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace management experience.
- Proven experience owning Amazon accounts end to end (not just listings or ads).
- Strong understanding of Amazon SEO, ranking factors, and conversion optimization.
- Experience managing FBA and FBM inventory at scale.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and take full accountability.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience managing multiple Amazon brands or storefronts.
- Amazon PPC execution experience.
- Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellerboard, or similar.
- Experience with product launches and international marketplaces.
- Experience handling Amazon compliance issues, appeals, or suspensions.
